Home caregiver in Nairobi
Warm, reliable non-medical home care across Nairobi — elderly care, live-in and overnight care, after-hospital support and help for families abroad.
Nairobi families are busy. Adult children work long hours and sit in traffic, many have moved abroad, and older parents increasingly live alone in apartments and family homes across the city. Hospital visits mean long queues; discharge often comes with a list of instructions and nobody free to follow them.
I provide caring, non-medical home support for older adults and recovering family members across Nairobi, so they can stay comfortable and safe at home — and so you can stop worrying.
Home care that fits Nairobi life
- Short visits for a morning wash, breakfast and medication reminder before you leave for work
- Day care at home while family members are at work
- Overnight and live-in care when a parent can no longer safely be alone
- Hospital sitting and appointment companion visits to Nairobi hospitals and clinics, with same-day updates for the family
- Care for parents of Kenyans abroad, with WhatsApp updates after every visit
How visits are planned
Nairobi traffic is real, so we plan visit times around it and agree them in writing. Before care starts, we talk through your loved one's routine, needs, preferences and emergency contacts. A family member or trusted friend is welcome to meet me first and see my training certificate.
Honest about scope
I am a trained caregiver, not a registered nurse. Injections, drips, wound dressing and catheter care must be done by a nurse — I'm happy to work alongside your loved one's nurse or doctor for everything in between. Here's the full caregiver vs nurse guide.
