Support for Adults with Disabilities in Nairobi & Kiambu
Respectful daily-living support for adults living with physical disabilities — at home, on outings and at appointments — that builds independence.
Adults living with physical disabilities deserve support that respects their choices and builds independence, rather than doing everything for them.
How I help
- Personal care, dressing and toileting, done the way the person prefers
- Safe transfers and wheelchair support at home and outdoors
- Preparing meals and help with eating when needed
- Accompanying them to appointments, church, shopping or social activities
- Following routines or exercises recommended by their therapist
Their life, their choices
I ask, listen and follow the person's lead. Good support means helping someone do what *they* want to do — not deciding for them.
Working with family and therapists
Where a physiotherapist or occupational therapist is involved, I follow their recommendations for positioning, transfers and equipment, and report any changes, pain or skin problems.
